As we are entering the outer parts of Isafordur, we site whales. Look for the water sprouts. I saw some but I don't have the right lens and tripod to capture. Will make due with a visual siting!

The next step was something unexpected. We stopped here at this waterfall and the driver gets out with a small pail and we are each handed plastic cups. He goes in the water and then tells us all to fill our glasses and drink. The story is that this will all help makes us younger. The water is pure. It was good!
Once finished with this adventure, we went to another town and to a community center. For a small place like this, there are a lot of tunnels. The story we got from the guide is that the roads along the mountains are snowed in most of the time with the wind and landslides that can happen.
The two performers belong to the musical acadamy in Bolungarvik Village.
The Icelandic musical instrument that she played with is called a Langspil. It is a 3 string instrument with the diatonic fingerboard.
